KAPOK

The lightest natural fiber in the world

Kapok is a valuable, 100% organic natural fiber derived from the fruits of the Ceiba pentandra tree—a sacred plant native to the rainforests of South America that can grow up to 60 meters tall. Known as "plant wool," kapok is characterized by its extremely lightweight, hollow structure: It consists of 80% air and has a very low density of just 0.35 g/cm³.

Naturally insulating

Thanks to its structure, the kapok fiber can trap a large amount of the body's own air, thus forming an insulating barrier that protects against temperature fluctuations

Completely organic

Kapok fibers grow wild in pristine rainforests and require no intensive cultivation. They are carefully harvested by hand – without the use of fertilizers or pesticides.
